Senior Marketing Executive

Helical Levity is led by world renowned cyber security expert James Lyne and combines a team of passionate and talented designers, developers and security researchers. Together we design and build industry leading tools that, amongst other things, help to identify and develop new cyber security talent. Our key product, CyberStart, is a suite of tools which support three major programmes in the UK and US:

Cyber security is one of the most exciting and rapidly growing industries around, but there is a massive skills shortage in the UK and US. There are thousands of talented individuals that have the skills to become future cyber security experts, our mission at Helical Levity and the goal of the CyberStart programmes is to uncover, support and train a new generation of talent in one of the most in-demand industries in the world.

We're looking for someone to work alongside the Marketing Team Lead to help drive the marketing and communications strategy for both our global programmes and B2C channels. You'll need to be an experienced marketer capable of building and implementing comprehensive marketing plans which are delivered through a variety of channels to a range of different target audiences. You'll need to be accountable for setting the direction and day-to-day delivery of campaigns, working as part of a small team. You will play an active role in the creation, delivery and oversight of marketing content.

This is a senior role within the Marketing team, reporting directly to the Marketing Team lead. The role will be based in our office in Ascott-under Wychwood, although some travel to events throughout the UK will be required.

Key responsibilities

  • Day-to-day management of marketing campaigns.
  • Creation of comprehensive, cohesive and well-researched multi-channel marketing plans which mix product and programme marketing in mostly digital, but also physical, marketing mediums, that consider market research, value proposition, target customers, channel plans, measures of success, brand alignment and budget.
  • You'll need to have a strong grasp of marketing data, tracking things like sign-up targets and conversion, spend, CPA and campaign ROI, and be able to present it in an accurate and timely way.
  • Vendor management, working with third party suppliers like email providers, printers and marketing agencies.
  • Robust oversight of the marketing content creation process, working with the design team especially, to ensure we're delivering high quality innovative content well ahead of delivery dates.
  • Working with other internal teams, as well as external clients, partners and programme teams, to ensure cohesive delivery of all marketing campaigns.

Level and salary

  • We're open to applicants with a variety of skill and experience levels but we're anticipating someone with previous experience running a small marketing team and delivering significant multi-channel marketing strategies.
  • Salary is negotiable and dependent on experience.
